The hotel offers very spacious but basic rooms reminiscent of an old Victorian house, with outdated decor. Despite this, the rooms were comfortable and had separate bedrooms and a toilet/shower. The service was helpful overall, except for one incident with a staff member at a nearby museum. The location boasts an amazing view and is ideal for breaking up the Norway in a Nutshell trip. The dining experience provided a decent buffet spread but lacked excitement.

However, the dining area had limited views and the breakfast was average. The location was stunning, perfect for nature lovers. Overall, a unique and enjoyable stay at the hotel.

The service was very friendly and helpful in typical Norwegian fashion, although they struggled to provide detailed information at times. The location was awesome, with easy access to stunning hiking trails and nearby attractions. The dining options were varied and delicious. Overall, a great value for the experience.
